Seek doers; avoid pretenders

There is a harsh reality in life between people who pretend and people who do. To the untrained eye, doers and pretenders look the same; however, a doer can spot a pretender from a mile away.

Pretenders buy gadgets, read magazines, attend seminars, and over-think everything. They will talk for hours… yet they have little to show for it. They live in their heads.

Doers do not care which tools they use. They are practitioners who produce consistent, tangible results. They do not have a lot of free time.

The ratio of pretenders to doers in any given profession is approximately 500:1.
